Busy Mom

Thats what my new blog page should say. Not just Busy Brock, I have a feeling this page will be commited to all the children that keep me busy!!

Fishing anyone?

And I wonder why I always feel like all I do is pick-up messes!!(Do you notice what the shirt says? "wasn't me" ha ha)

Poor little negleted Briggs

I think the hand-be-downs are on their last leg, (or in Briggs' case last toes!)

Did you scrub behind your ears?

I always heard this growing up, and I'm sure my parents heard it growing up and so on.... I never really saw the importance of it. Really my feet get much dirtier!! Well I guess my ancestors knew what they were talking about because if you look really close at the picture you'll see something. That would be gum!!!! The worst part is that I don't know when the last time he had pink gum! YUK!! So to all those parents who don't think its important to scrub behind the ears I'm here to tell you it is!

I know your thinking how can someone that looks this sweet cause any trouble. Looks can be very deceiving! :)

All I asked was to go and get his pajamas. He must of misunderstood me and thought I said "please go and empty ALL your drawers out, then make a mountain out of them so you can play on it!"

Well Brock has finally decided to be potty trained(once again!!). About 6 months ago we did it and everything went great. He even stayed dry through the night. This lasted about 3 months and then I guess he just decided to actually walk all the way to the bathroom was just to much work for him, so needless to say we started using pull ups again (and even resorted to diapers sometimes). Now at almost 4 Brock has once again decided to give the big boy pants another try. So I guess he's just letting me know who is in charge!

I've been thinking for awhile that I wanted to start a blog for Brock. When you have a child like Brock there is always a story to tell. Every time I catch Brock doing something "naughty" I think that I really should have that blog going. So today while Brock and Briggs were eating Mac-n-cheese for lunch I got this crazy idea to go in the other room and fold laundry. When I came back into check on them they were mysteriously greasy. Brock had decided to take a stick of butter and share it with Briggs. YUK!! They ate most of it, and then managed to rub the rest onto them.
Everyone always tells me that someday I will look back and miss these precious days, but I really find that hard to believe. No cleaning poop out of the bathtub, trying to get permanent marker off faces, and jumping in pools fully clothed to save lives. Miss that.......I can't imagine :).
